Call for Papers

The Organizers of the International Conference on Karst Hydrogeology and Ecosystems are soliciting oral presentations and/or posters for the upcoming meeting. Abstracts for both must include all authors’ names, the title of the paper or poster, the mailing address of the primary author, and the abstract of the paper (maximum 250 words). Submitted material should also include telephone numbers and an e-mail address for correspondence. Both oral presentations and a poster session are scheduled.

Oral presentations should be 15 minutes, plus a 5 minute period for questions and answers. A computer with projector, slide projector, and overhead projector will be available in each meeting room. Any special needs will require sufficient advance warning.

In addition to the oral presentations, a poster session will be held. The displays should contain enough information to be readily understood, but we will also plan for a time period when authors will be present to answer questions. Poster space is limited to a maximum of 250 centimeters by 130 centimeters, including text and illustrations.

Abstracts must be submitted no later than May 15, 2007. Authors will be notified regarding acceptance of their papers by June 15, 2007. Please include your preference for oral or poster presentation with your abstract. While the organizers will consider individual preference, time constraints may require some oral presentations instead to be scheduled as a poster.

Material may be submitted by e-mail or disk. Microsoft Word or text formatting is preferred. Abstracts or questions regarding the program should be directed to karst2007@gmail.com

Abstracts are made available online as a downloadable pdf, the International Conference on Karst Hydrology and Ecosystems Conference Program
